I wanted to know a type of plant that I’d inherited from my parents. A friend suggested “plants lens” app from google to help me out. It was a 3 day free trail. The app didn’t identify the plant correctly, saying it was a Date Palm. Through friends I found out it was a Sago Palm. On the 3rd day I got a $64.34 charge from google for the app! I wrote google saying I didn’t want the app on the 3rd day. I filed a claim with PayPal...I was in my 3 day free trail period & besides $64 for an app is ridiculous. They filed in under “ goods not received” & deny my claim. So for one use of the app, which was incorrect...$64.34. I feel ripped off. PayPal, which I’ve never filed a claim for 15 years + is disappointing in the extreme in this instance.
So don’t expect much from PayPal...don’t ever buy Google apps!
