trying to make a payment from debit card

hello im trying to make a payment from my debit card and it wont let me i moved house 3 weeks ago so i had to change my address on my account which i done i had to delete my old address which also deleted my card details i was finally able to put my card details back on 3 days later it says its there but ive just tried to buy something on ebay and it says i need to add card details to carry on i tried that and it says its allready linked to my account please try another why cant i make a payment it says my card is there theres money on my card so im not sure whats going on or what to do can someone please help with this as im stuck

I am trying to settle a payment, where the seller sent me an invoice directly to PayPal after an error kept arising during checkout on eBay. Now this new error keeps arising - I can't understand why, since I already used this card before to make purchases through PayPal on eBay. It has certainly not expired; I am finding this to be very frustrating since it may ruin my chance to get a very good deal. Please help!

im having same problem it is a problem with ebay not connecting properly to pay pal i have asked the sellers to send me their email address so i can pay direct through paypal

Hi chriss1978,

If you have your card registered on your account and your are being requested to add a card is it generally because your card issuer is denying use of your card. If this is a new card or the address has been changed on the card you may need to contact the online authorisation department at your card issuer for them to allow you use the card on PayPal.

Also I would suggest that you review the card details that you have registered to ensure all details are correct.

This should resolve the issue for you and allow you send your payment.

thankyou paula it helped a bit it was mostly down to the address but i was told that because everything had changed i would have to redo all the settings again i found that i had to set it as the main card but couldent do that untill the address problem was sorted out thankyou for your help im all sorted now
