Hi indianadalziel,
There are a number of reasons why you can receive a message stating you are using an outdated version of PayPal. It may be that you are logging on using a favourites link and that link is no longer available or has been updated. You can also receive this message if you need to update your internet explorer version.
Try logging on using a different web browser instead of using a stored favourites link. Also have a look at your computer to see if it may be waiting on your to complete any updates of your internet explorer.
I hope this helps
Paula

Hi indianadalziel,
If you are using firefox you shouldn't have any problems however if you are still receiving the same error message then I would suggest that you try using internet explorer to see if that my resolve it.
You may also want to consider clearing the cookies and cache on your computer as this may help.
Depending on which browser you use, this can be done under 'Options,' 'Preferences,' or 'Tools'. Because deleting your cache and cookies relates to your web browser software and not PayPal, see your browser's online help section for further information.
Thanks for your update
Paula

I have now tried to complete the transaction after clearing cache & cookies & using explorer & also a different computer to no avail. I have been able to pay using my wifes paypal account, so would that indicate that there is an issue with my account?

Hi indianadalziel,
I would ask your wife to log on to her PayPal account. If there are any issues or information is needed she will be notified when she logs in.
Thanks
Paula
