Hi there
Unfortunately I have not been able to find a definitive answer to this question, which is:
Which is the quickest way of paying to receive goods?
I have set my account to use a direct debit from my bank but would that take longer to process a payment, or would I be better off with transferring the cash into my account beforehand or maybe keeping a balance which I think I might need.
With being a impatient type of person, after I have ordered something I don't want to have to wait days just for payments to be processed.
Thanks

As long as you have a debit or credit card linked on paypal as well as your bank account then payments will go instantly to the seller.
When you pay as long as its not an echeque (when you just have a bank account on paypal and no back up card), then paypal pay the seller straight away and then they wait for you funds to transfer to them to as it were pay them back.
So it doesn't matter whether you pay with funds in your account or from your bank account or card the seller gets their payment the instant you complete checkout with ebay etc.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
