Refund, for something bought with paypal

Hi there,

i bought a program and paid for it with paypal, how ever it was not what i was hopping and the seller told me to file a dispute with paypal to get my refund. After it not appering in my account (i thought they were going to refund them selfs)

i emailed them, this was there email back to me

"the refound request with the paypal was already confirmed by her, and the status is opened with the paypal, all we have to do is wait a couple more days so the paypal will confirm it." 

I am not sure what i should do here  any ideas?

also i am not sure where it should be posted.

Welcome to the boards!

If the Refund status is pending, or it shows a refund but it is on hold, then the merchant has issued a refund.  Once the refund clears, you should receive the credit and it will post into your balance (for bank funded payments) or back to the card that was charged (for card funded payments).
