Payment split into two methods?

Hi there,

I have some money left in my paypal account that I want to use up.  The only thing is that it's not enough to cover the bill of the item I want.  Do I have to put more money into paypal to make the payment or can I choose to pay as much as I have on the account and then the remainder on my credit card?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

If you have a PayPal balance that will be used first. The rest of the payment will be charged to either a credit card or your bank account depending on which payment sources you have registered to your PayPal account.

Make sure to verify how the payment is being funded by checking the summary before you complete the payment.

What happens if I try to use two different credit cards to fund one single transactions. 

For example I want to buy an item worth $2,000 and have $1,000 charged to credit card one and the second $1,000 charged to credit card 2. Is that supported
