PayPal abroad - Goods shipped to hotel address in US

Hello,

I will be in the US on holiday and would like to order some items from a store which accepts PayPal and have them shipped to the hotel where I will be staying. Is this possible? I've tried to add/assign the hotel's address to those already in my list but it only accepts UK address. Is there a way to resolve this and have the whole transaction run smoothly?

Hi ad19,

I'm sorry to see that this post was missed by the community. While it's very likely that you've already found the answer, it's a great question and I'd like to answer it for you and/or anyone else with the same question.

Via the PayPal site itself, it is only possible to add addresses that are within the country that the account is opened in. The exception is on those sites that use a shopping cart system that allows addresses to be added through their own interface. In those situations, the added address can be used at that site only.
