Hello
If I checkout on Godaddy USA with a credit card from their website, because we are using our VAT number they do not charge any VAT. (There is no VAT on B2B international sales from USA to UK).
However, if I cehckout and want to pay via Paypal, then it adds on VAT. Therefore, is it possible to specify a VAT number? Do I need a different account type? Currently only have a Personal Paypal account. Does Business account solve this problem? Are there different fees on paypal business?

Hi there Rich3000.
Welcome to the Community!
If you are using a Personal PayPal account, this would mean that you do not have a VAT number linked to your PayPal account.
If there is VAT being applied on a purchase that you are sending to a merchant, this would be applied by the merchant directly and you should contact them directly to arrange the payment for services with a VAT percentage removed.
David.
