Click on ''send money'' select the option you want (if its a payment for goods then select that option) > put in their email address > put in the amount > select dollars from the drop down list > then before you click to pay it will tell you how much will be deducted from your funding source in sterling.
OR you can get the seller to send you a money request or invoice in dollars for you to just click and pay.
