Buying another item with money which was refunded but not appearing in my account

I bought an item but I canceled the transaction so the money was refunded and it was written complete but not showing in my bank account. Since the money was refunded but not showing in my account. Can I use that money to buy another item while the money isn't showing in my bank account or I have to wait until the money appears in my account that's when I am allowed to buy another item? Thank you.

I would wait until it shows in your account. Banks take a little while for funds to be put back. If it was straight out of paypal it would be instant. The joys of dealing with paypal!

How long does a refund take to appear in my account? If the refund was done on Friday, when is it likely to appear in my account?

How did you FUND the paypal payment?

1. Instant bank transfer or

2. Debit card??

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c (paypal say allow 30 days but I have never waited longer than a week for mine).
