how can there is no place where you can find which merchants accept paypal?

Unfortunately, there is no one place to find all merchants who accept PayPal. The PayPal Shopping site does have a list of many of the larger merchants that accept PayPal.

This is the best location to check.

There are THOUSANDS of merchants who accept paypal now a days.  Most would have a paypal icon, or mention that they accept paypal, but some you wont know until you get to the checkout.  If a site accepts PayPal, alot of times the icon will be the paypal double P icon, stamped on the main web page. If you do not see the stamp, check the sites payments options which can usually be found by clicking the shopping cart icon near the top of the web page.  If I helped at all, please feel free to click the thumbs up below!  Thanks!
