Please read! This is about BML and my credit report!

I signed up for BML and upon reading that it was subject to credit approval, I knew and agreed to follow through with the initial purchase knowing that BML would do a credit check. I thought I was ok with the way everything was going for the first month. However, I noticed when I went to make a second purchase using BML, that the screen asked for my birth date and last 4 digits of my social security # again. I found this to be very unusual and I was uneasy about it since I have excellent credit and don't allow frequent inquiry's into my credit. I had already allowed BML to do the credit check to open the account on the first purchase and I was only making a $60 purchase on eBay. My 2 purchases would not come close to totaling the first $500 that BML gives upon opening the account. Before making the second purchase, I called BML and spoke with a customer service representative and explained that it seemed like another inquiry would be made into my credit if I gave the last 4 digits of my SS# again. The representative told me that it was just BML's way of identifying me to put my purchase on the correct account and it would not prompt another credit inquiry since I had already done that. I went ahead and made my $60 purchase using BML instead of putting it on one of my 10 credit cards. Well.....................listen to this! By total accident, I happened to go into a credit union this week and also very unusually, I was given my credit report during my visit. Everything looked great until I got to the inquirys. BML has run a credit check on me for every purchase I have made and used them. These are Hard hit inquirys, because credit union/and or Bank reports only show hard hits and do not show soft hits. Hard hits lower your credit score!! My score is high enough and I caught it soon enough that I still do not have a low score as a result of this. I am trying to let people know what happened to me by writing this post. I called BML about this and after receiving an apology,  I was told that I would receive a call back about removing the additional inquiry. I have not received a call back at this time. I may have to write a dispute letter to take care of this. Now....................why would someone with a high credit score allow a credit inquiry for a $60 purchase on eBay and knock my score down? Obviously, I wouldn't had I known that was going to happen. Also, for everyones information, I have been making the payments on time, etc. There was Nothing on the report about the BML account being in good standing. So, in my case, they are not reporting the good, but only bringing me down with the bad. This is all entirely true with no exaggeration, and if the Paypal people read this, Please respond! Thank you.
