Remove credit card

As the list grows longer, and longer, I have gotten absolutely NO help whatsoever after several weeks fo sending emails back and forth to PayPal customer service who refuse to actaully answer the question:  I HAVE NO PENDING TRANSACTIONS - & - MY CC WAS NEVER INVOLVED NOR USED IN ANY TRANSACTION AT ANY TIME IN THE PAST...thus, there is nothing to link it to some unflagged transaction.  Is PayPal "locking" our CC info and data mining ???  

today I got a generic email stating "From researching your account history, I can see that your issue has been resolved. We are continually improving our customer service to accommodate members' needs and can be contacted by going to the PayPal
website and clicking the "Help" link in the upper right side of the page."   Um .... wtf ?  it has NOT BEEN RESOLVED. Jezus Chriest! what a way to run a multi-billion $ business... extremely dissatisfied and now suspicious about PayPal' conduct and business practices.

I have the same exact issue.  I used the credit card once to pay for one item and the payment cleared over a week ago.  I added a new credit card and made it my primary card, and while all the transactions are being sent to this card appropriately, I still cannot remove the old credit card.  There are no 'transactions pending' on this card.  I would really like it if this were fixed, ASAP.  Glad to know I am not the only one with this problem either.

I too can not remove credit cards or bank accounts. I simply wish to remove credit cards and bank accounts that are no longer valid or existing but I get the message "You may not remove your back-up funding source while an instant transfer is still pending." I has been over a month since a transaction with paypal has occured.

Anybody have any information on this very very annoying problem?

My old credit card was compromised so I got a new credit card and could not remove the old one due to the message that a transaction was pending.  I added my new credit card but still can't take the old one off.  Please advise.

This is  ridiculous! I have an Amex card that I canceled out over 2yrs ago (which you can't do if it has pending charges) and it still will not let me remove it.

I've sent information about this concern and have never received any solid information on getting this resolved for removing a canceled card.

With so many people having this same issue wouldn't you think that PayPal would "fix" the glitch that has been ignored.
