You asked on the status of payments to India.

I presumed you meant could you send or receive payments with a paypal account in India.

So i sent you to see that you can click on the India site and see you can send and receive in India.

If you mean something else may be you could be more specific.

Oh, thanks....I m in the uk and need to make a payment to someone in India, that's when it said that sending money to India is not possible at the moment. That's the problem

Is it an expensive item because i know they have limits on what they can accept.

Emmmm basically, I m paying for a journal, it's about $132.

Well unless they have changed the rules again not sure why you can't pay.

Are you paying in the currency the seller can accept? Can he accept sterling or dollars??

The person is accepting dollars....I just wet through the normal process only for it to tell me that it's not accepting payments to India at this time

The procedure said I should use personal payments....the error message is "we're sorry. We're not able to complete personal payments to accounts holders in India at this time."
