how do i receive payments in usd

Hi all,

         i am a little new to this, i have seem to have some products that are popular in the U.S.A., i am based in the U.K. and i am selling the items via ebay, paypal is my one and only payment method, my question is how do i except both U.K. sterling and U.S. dollars as  currency, firstly do i need to advertise this in the ebay listing? i have more questions, but i will wait until i get some form of answer to this one.

Hi there catfromhell, 

All you need to do is open USD as a currency balance in your PayPal account to accept payments in USD.

Here's how to accept money in a new currency:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
3. Click 'My money.'
4. Click 'Currencies' beside 'PayPal balance.'
5. Select the currency you want to add.
6. Click 'Add Currency.'

Hi,

Can I also do this for receiving payments in USD? I am in the Philippines but the items I am selling are in USD rate. Is it possible to receive the payments in USD? My bank account linked to Pay Pal is a dollar account. Does this mean that Pay Pal will not convert the money to Philippibe Peso?
