clearing a negative balance!

I was paying something on ebay, and for some stupid reason I entered into paypal instead of paying with my visa. I did have a paypal when I lived in Spain but dont use it now as i moved back to Uk and didnt change it. Paypal did an automatic payment before I could stop it, now I have a negative balance and paypal have give me a number to phone from Spain to resolve it! Obviously I cant phone it from Spain cos Im in England!!! Four messages I have sent and they still say the same thing, all I want to know is if I can send money via my card to my paypal account and clear the negative balance???? Aaaaarrrrrrgh!!!

Hi angrylady, 

If you need to add funds to a PayPal account to resolve a negative balance you would need to add funds using a bank account. To add a bank account click on Profile>my money>add a bank.  If you do not have a bank account an alternative option would be  to request a friend or family member to send you a payment for the amount that you are negative for. This would clear the negative balance instantly.
