change the name shown on a buyer's receipt?

Hi there,

Is there any way to change the name that is shown  on a buyer's receipt (ie: you have sent a payment to suchandsuch where i want suchandsuch to be my email moniker and not the paypal account name) or does it have to be in the name of what is registered with the account?

Hope I made myself clear...reading it abck myself I am not sure I understand it lol

Hi there mad4wdw,

Do you have a business account? If so you can add your business name which will then appear on your buyers receipts.

If you do not have a business account you cannot edit what shows on the buyers receipt.

Hi, I have a business account.  If I make a subscription purchase for an online service (i.e. no product is shipped), is my business name the only name that is revealed to the seller, or is my real name also revealed?  I don't want my real name revealed, after all, it's not needed.
