bank saying money not applied for

I have a negative balance on my paypal account which paypal say the bank declined.I phoned the bank and they are saying paypal havent even applied for these payments.I have contacted paypal and am waiting for reply but just wondered if anyone else has had this problem.

You need to check that you still have the direct debit mandate between you and your bank in force OR your debit card is up to date on paypal.
Go to your paypal account > profile tab > my money.
If all ok i would suggest phoning customer services.
Contact us bottom of paypal pages > use the call us option on the left (fees apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent.
