Paypal payment was returned and now CANNOT use bank account to transfer money

I make a payment to someone via paypal and used funds from my bank account.  I was unaware at the time that my husband also make a transaction via my bank account which mean there were now insufficient funds in my account to pay the person.

Payapl returned the payment which is fair enought but when I went to make the payment again (making sure there WERE sufficient funds in my account!) it wont give me the option of transfering from the bank account.

My only option is to use my debit card at a fee of £25!

Is there any way round this??

When the payment failed they may have removed the direct debit mandate between you and your bank

BUT what normally happens is that if a payment fails they try again a few days later and if that fails then they use your back up card if you have one linked to your paypal account.

So i would leave it a few days and see if this is what happens.

Don't understand what you mean about a charge to use your debit card, buyers don't pay charges.
