Name Privacy when Buying

HELPPPP..I have never used PayPal yet...My Question is:...is My Name Revealed when I buy something ..or Send Money for example to a charity....Can I hide My name somehow or use a Nick Name..I tried to change My name on My account to a Nickname but it does not allow it...so for my own Privacy I want to remain Private from whoever I send money to...is it possible

If you buy something or pay for something then your name is given so that the person can address the item to you.

I understand...But can I use a Different Name like a NickName..I dont want anyone to know My real name..I am happy to have my real name  for My PP Account..But would prefer to use a Nickname..is that possible..?

Completely agree.  And people are buying from me and receiving a receipt stating exactly who I am, there is no need for this... how do we stop this?
