Is anyone experiencing an email delay?

Are any other paypal retaillers experiencing a delay in paypal sale notification emails coming through to them.

All day today our paypal emails have come through around 6 housr after the transaction was made by the customer?

I am too just logged it with help desk 

Ebay showing items have been paid for and checking on here amounts havr recieved but no fees deleted and no notification email recieved.

just bought an item on ebay and got an immediate notification that I had paid

 

Don't know whats happening

Hi,

 

I noticed delays in notification Emails last night, but it seemed OK this morning.

 

Now I'm missing them again.

Hi Helen,

 

This is the same pattern as we are experiencing, it seemed to correct itself and now we are back to the same situation wit currently around a 6 - 7 hour notification delay?

 

Any suggestions on how to rectify this?

same situation for me,  6+ hours for emails to confirm transactions

It was 6+ hours for me yesterday too.  But it's gettign worse.  Now up to around 11-12 hours.  MAJOR inconvenience for me.

 

I just sent in a support email. I'm sure they are aware of it, but it can't hurt to let them know.

Just got this response from Paypal Customer Support 

Hope it helps you all.

In regards to your query we are aware of the issue that some of our
customers are not receiving notification emails when they received a
payment.

I want to put your mind at ease and let you know that there is nothing
wrong in your PayPal account.

We are currently updating our system and this is one of the affected
features. Rest assured that our technical team is actively working to
resolve this issue as soon as possible.

To further assist you on this I have forwarded your account number to
the relevant department so that you will be included on the affected
users.

I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you.

this is a joke!! 3 days now! started off a couple of hours.. now 7 to 10 hour delays. To make matters worse a few come through immediately, so we have no idea what orders are to be shiped! We advertise instant shipping..this is killing us!

Final straw Paypal.. there are better and cheaper solutions out there and we're taking our £600k acconts there

I Have received three payments today and one yesterday with no "you have received an instant payment" email notification. This is really annoying as I use this notification to take the buyers shipping address and reply with confirmation I have received the payment and will be shipping their items. Whats going on ?
