I can't pay for an item

Hi, I'm trying to buy some items on eBay and once I've selected my credit card and press confirm pay I get a notification that there is a checkout error and I need to go back and select my payment method. Does anyone know how to fix it. Thanks

Have you confirmed your credit card on paypal?
