Do I have to link a credit card or bank account in order to start recording money in my pay pal account?

You will need to add a debit or credit card to start using paypal to buy.

If you decide to sell and receive payments then you will need to add your bank account as that is the only way to withdraw a paypal balance to your bank account.

The money seems to be at my paypal account, but not in my bank account, what's happening? Why PayPal didn't put in my Bank Account, what should I do? Many thanks!

I opened an account in the last few days and received an Email Asking me to "Add a payment method"? Im sure i did this when i signed up. Can anyone Please tell me if this is normal pratice? Worried it might be a phising email?
