Hi,
My account has been debited $5,$20,$50,($75 total) by this company called Facebook Ireland Ltd. I did not authorise these payments and i have initiated an unauthorised payment refund claim.
Apparently I am not the first victim ("https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Facebook-Ireland-Ltd-Fake-paymente/td-p/486884?pro...") I do not understand how Paypal still allows the company to recieve payments through it.
Kindly look into the matter.

This just happened to me as well. After disputing the issue with both Facebook and Paypal, I received an email that told me how to log into my PayPal account and cancel the pre-approved payments to Facebook Ireland, which I never authorized in the first place. You all may want to look at that page in your PayPal profile! I'm still waiting for a resolution from PayPal. I assume they will credit the funds back to my account.

This just happened to me as well.
I immediately filed a dispute, but c'mon PayPal - same fraudulent vendor sets charges to numerous PayPal accounts over the course of 6 months (at least, according to this post) and you haven't figured out how to stop it?
Put some efforts into it, cause as many people who've noticed this - i'm sure there's at least the same number of people who haven't and lost their money to this fraud. Feels to me like you're a bit disrespectful to your paying customers by not finding a faster resolution for this matter.

I have the same problem, just saw my credit card statement and there was a charge to Facebook Ireland a couple of days ago, already contested it.
What i find absurd is that Paypal is apparently doing absolutely nothing to solve this, something that is affecting several users, in several countries, for 6 months or more. I will be definitely cancelling my Paypal account after this.

Just got $200 debited on 02-08-2014 on my credit card from Brazil:
08/02 FACEBK *CCGXS5W8P2 IRELAND 200,00 (U.S.DOLLAR)
I've deleted my creditcard info on paypal, initiated a claim and demand a refund. Once I get my refund, bye bye paypal.

The same thing just happened to me. USD 12,38 charged in my credit card via PayPal in fvor of Facebook Ireland LTD.
It's just unbelievable that this "thing" - probably a scam or sort of - has been happening from years now and PayPal and Facebbok IReland LTD still haven't managed to stop it.
I strongly emphasize that I am the only person with access to my Facebook account, and I do not play any games on it. I had to request a new credit card to my bank and opened a refund claim with PayPal.
I will cancel my PayPal account as soon as this thing is solved, as it has proven not to be a safe website.

He puesto la reclamación. ¿A alguien le han devuelto el dinero?
