OK first thing i need you to do is to go to ebay and start a pretend sell.
Go only as far as you need to go to be able to scroll down to the payment section > now look in the paypal box, is the email address in there correct with no spelling mistakes??
Come back and say.

Have you added it and confirmed it on paypal?
Go to profile > my details and check that it is primary and confirmed.
Also you often have to claim the first payment you receive so check if in the details of the transaction there is that option.

I am having exactly the same problem as this. Checked email in eBay and Paypal and both are fine. Same address, spelt correctly.
I did have two email addresses and deleted the non-primary one a few weeks back and things seem to have gone wrong since. I just get the eggtimer symbol like so many other people.
If I need to *claim* a payment, how on earth do I do that?

PS If I click on "View Paypal Transaction" in eBay on an item with the eggtimer, I just get this: "The Transaction ID in your link is invalid."
Please help!
