I have been buying on ebay via paypal for quite a while and only recently started selling. As I tend to buy more than I sell I am worried about what happens when my balance approaches zero. My primary account is my bank account but I would prefer to buy things using my credit card and anything sold to my bank. I do not want funds taken from my bank account should there be insufficient funds in my paypal account. Is there any way to do this?

Hi there maisie47,
If you have a PayPal balance this will always be your primary funding source and used before your card or bank account.
If you do not have a sufficient PayPal balance to pay for your item your bank will be your default payment method. If you do not want to use your bank account you will need to make sure you select 'More Funding Options' and choose the card you wish to use on the confirmation page when completing each payment.
Hope this helps!
Siobhan
