withdrawing money

I have been using paypal to buy online for years.  In August I started to sell on Folksy.com, I was asked to login to paypal which i did, when I sold an item in August the sale appeared on my statement but my paypal balance as stayed at 0.00, I have a personal premier account, and now a business account and I have verified my direct debit, but the balance still shows 0.00 how do I get the money from paypal and do i need a business account to sell online?  Totally confused and frustrated!

Have you bought anything and paid for it via paypal since the payments should have gone in??


The reason i ask is that if you have funds in your paypal balance and then buy something then paypal will always take from those funds (as that is now the default funding source), rather than from your normal funding source eg bank account or card.


To check go and click on the word "details" next to any recent paypal buying transaction and see if they were funded from your paypal balance ie buyers payments rather than your normal funding source.
