I just contacted paypal AGAIN. I was informed that it is a '72 hour security check' AGAIN. I informed them that a moderator has already informed us it's a technical issue....eventually I had the poor guy stumped and he admitted he could only reel off what he could see on his screen. This is out of order and paypal need to start informing frontline staff of what the issues REALLY are!

Wherever my money is accumilating interest and whoever will gain from that interest should know that once again my children, partner and I will be going hungry this weekend AGAIN.

A few weeks ago I got caught up with the wire transfer problem. It took a week before any money credited my account and I was refunded £5.

Today I made a wire transfer this morning at about 7.30. this has remained as pending all day. In the afternoon I decided that as I don't want to go overdrawn I would spend another £5 transferring some more money.

Guess what...........Yep, It's pending too. Apparently it is not being held for any security reasons it would seem that paypal have failed - yet again to fulfill their agreements.

C'mon Paypal.

I think we need someone to come on here and explain what is happening!

I've had half a dozen payments pending for a very long time over the last week or so, NO REFUNDS of £5 have arrived for any of them... I am not convinced this happens unless you get on the phone and chase it.

This is just another of "The PayPal Rip Offs"!

They charge the ridiculous amount of £5 to be allowed to have our money after they have already earnt fees double that of just taking credit cards. I can just about accept this rip off charge of £5 if the money appears in my account straight away (as it does with any other online transfer via BACS) but when it is the next day it is just a waste of the £5.

As small business we pay the fee because we need our funds for cashflow.

I just called them and got told the funds were being held for security - what a load of rubbish! How can there be a security issue in sending my money to my bank account as they haves 100's of times before??!! -- It is just another catch of PayPal so they earn another £5 but still hang onto the money so they earn interest on it - just like the banks used to do before they cleaned up their act a bit.

I have just told my wife to remove PayPal as a payment feature on our new website. Just the odd few of us telling PayPal to stop ripping us off will make no difference but PayPal has got to learn that they will make more and more people against them by hurting their customers in a time of such financial hardship as we in Europe are now in.

They preach about how great a service and how secure we all are by using but what they do not say is that we have security against the tactics of PayPal. However you only have to put PayPal problem into Google to see 1000's of very upset people who have been hurt by PayPal.

We all have to make some money but I just fail to see why it is that financial institutions think they can rip off their own customers instead of looking after them!

FFS NOT AGAIN. Smiley Mad

Paypal UK are regulated by the FSA, so get onto them and complain. Don't think for a minute that becuase Paypal's head office is in Luxembourg that there's nothing that can be done or nobody to hold them to account.

We did it last week when we had the same thing happen then. Everytime somebody complains to the FSA they are obligated to investigate. Paypal HATE the FSA

I have just received a message to say that the three faster withdrawals that I have made over the last two days are all under 24 hour review..

I have made hundreds of such withdrawals and never had one of them held like this.

It seems that paypal are unable to send money more quickly so I won't be paying for fast withdrawals again.

If you think about it this is a great way to earn money. If you keep humdreds of thousands of pounds of peoples money (for an extra day or two) the interest is immense.

It is noticeable that no one from paypal seems to want to communicate on this forum...Not good enough Paypal - Must try harder!

I transferred £510 yesterday morning, and payed the £5 for the faster transaction. The status of the transfer was pending for 24 hours, its now completed in paypal but nothing in my bank. This happened to me on the 8th May like lots of other people, and looks like its happening again.

I have spoken to paypal twice today and they just say exactly what they said on the 8th May, that it isnt there problem and I have to contact my bank, and if it doesnt show up I will have to wait 14 working days for it to be investigated.

Has anyone of you who have had the transfers pending in their paypal accounts received funds in their bank accounts yet?

This really does need sorting paypal!!!

No...Nothing and it would seem yet again there is going to be no hope of getting the money. I decided that I would set up the automatic settlements payment (as I'm not doing any more faster withdrawals)

Funnily enough the 'System isn't available' at the moment.

I wonder if someone might come on here and explain how exactly we get hold of our money?
