Hi, there was a problem on our paypal account as I had not changed the email address to collect funds. My husband thought I was checking payments and i thought he was checking. Now we have sorted it I have found that I missed the time (30 days ) to collect the payment on an item sent. how do i re- request payment from the purchaser on ebay who has recieved the goods.
All you can do is ask them nicely. Technically in this case it was your fault. The buyer made payment, you shipped the item and didn't claim the money so it was reversed to the buyer as per Paypals terms.
Paypal give an overly generous window of 30 days for you to claim funds as they make interest on that money, but can't hold it any longer legally. All you can do is pray on the good will of the buyer.
