On 1oth Sept i withdrew £100 from my paypal a/c back to my confirmed bank a/c. Paypal held up the transaction 'for security reasons' for 24hrs. On 11th I recieved an email saying transaction completed. Money never arrived in my bank a/c. Told me 14 days before they can trace what happened. So on 25th sent proof that the money did not arrive. Now 10th Oct still no money! Not one email to acknolwedege anything. Costs me to call them and all they say is 'there doing a trace everyday'? What does that mean? There clearly not doing a very job at it and not getting anywhere. Anybody else had this problem? How did it get resolved?

TO PAYPAL: I WANT MY MONEY NOW!!!!!! I ALSO WANT COMPENSATION. MY COSTS REFUNDED AND AN APOLOGY FOR THE TRULY CRAP SERVICE AND SUPPORT THEY HAVE GIVEN. NOT ONE EMAIL ABOUT THIS ISSSUE HAVE I RECIEVED.

Hi softpots,

Firstly I must advise you that this is a community forum and we are unable to view your PayPal account or take action on your PayPal account on your behalf. We are here to provide general advice.

In relation to a funds trace on your account, this can sometimes take a while. When a funds trace is being completed if PayPal are unable to locate it on their systems they may need to reach out to your bank to confirm if they are able to trace it. Your bank will then begin a trace and respond to PayPal.

I do regret to hear that you have not had a response and I do hope you get this resolved soon.

Same with me, i withdraw £70 and it is available in my bank account, paypal take £30 back whats with these financial companies playing with our money whenever they feel like it. I think its time to really look at charging paypal for our time now and for any errors they make, i am considering charging paypal and reporting them  for theft
