Thank for your email, it was nice i was forgoten in cyberpace. I know what is happing now.I think It will try to exlain as it may be of help too other clients too.
Here go.
1. I am in Upton Hospital in Berkshire,have been since Dec 2010 due to Accident.
2. I was adviced buy the Department Work And Pension to setup a benfit account wih post office.
3. This would allow DWP to pay "Incapacity Benfit" into the new post office, now to known as the "Benfit" account.
4. This is all new to me, never been unemployed nor been in position where i needed to receive"ICB". until accident, ok we digress.
5 I received a new atm card with ACCOUNT NO:12345678 & SORT CODE:99-99-99.
6.I received new pin /no a few day later, hurraa!
7. Now will go to the post office & check balance, then remmeberd reading the paper about atm machines down in 2000 uk post offices. On BBC news.
8. They then had to pay pensioners £20.00 per day counter payment unit fixed.
9. It was fiixed reasonably quickly, I went back. card worked, pin number worked.
10. I a got balance and low and behold funds had been deposited and cleared.
11. I withdrew x amount and it worked ok. Now it should be Easy from here ?
12. Next go online andI setup direct debit on paypal Easy,
13. Entered new "BENIFIT" details on paypal and it resolved correctly,"Town,Address,Post Code. Easy.
14. Paypal then email asking me with link to complete setup by entering the 2 amounts they had deposited earlier. Easy
15. Great securiy idea to prove it was my account Easy.
16. I went back to the post office to get the the two amounts needed to complete.
17. I asked speak to the post master/manager and he was very helpful but, informed me that no deposit had been made from paypal and wont in the future.
18. It finally clicked I should have noticed this from the earlier counter balance/transaction history request.
19. However the post master/manager explained to me that the post office "BENIFIT" account is only for receiving "BENIFITS" from "DWP" and nothing else, no cash, no direct debit, no stand orders, no bacs, no "PAYPAL" basicly nothing.
20. Then need ask for an account which will surfice all my needs, one that has all of the features the" BENFIT" does not. Easy.
21. I have found an account from the post office, (only because I was there) that will do every I need for now.
22. This will be active in 10 days fingers crossed soon I will be using ebay & paypal, what I set out to do.
23. There is onlyone thing that could cause and that is minor.
