Withdrawal Problem - Processing Issue or Rejection?

Hi,
I have tonight tried to withdraw a small sum of money circa £60 from my PP account to my Bank Account.
This process is usually quite quick and the monies are in my bank account within minutes normally,
However I have since received the following errors:
"Your withdrawal request was refused due to processing issues or rejection by your bank. We have returned the funds to your PayPal account"
I tried to withdraw to a different account only to receive the same error.
Is there an issue with PP withdrawals at the moment?

Yes, it's PayPal causing the problem, most likely maintenance. Although it's very rare, and will probably be back working shortly. No need to wait days, hopefully minutes or maybe 1-hour!

Even the customer service support telephone number is not working, number not recognized! 0800 358 7911.
It would help if paypal know they have a problem, to post it so we can all save time! Come on paypal, you can do better than leave us all in the dark.

Paypal said its not down to our banks its a glitch at paypals end, when you get a message saying your bank account / card details have been deleted ignore it as this is a technical problem with paypal at present. Paypal are refunding customers with the charge fees(50p for each transaction failed) they have been charged and they say to refresh your paypal to see charges have been refunded into our paypal accounts. They said NOT to try and do the transfer from paypal to your bank until 24 hours as you will keep getting charged. So wait 24 hours and try transfer again. Paypal & Noel from the business team has advised that the engineers are working on this issue now & it will defiantely be resolved TODAY!
