Hi, I added a new bank account to my PayPal account yesterday and completed a transaction today and tried to withdraw the balance of my PayPal account to my bank account. Have never had problems previously, but today then I completed the withdraw request it showed as pending. Have read on here that there are sometimes delays in processing the transfer due to security checks. Wondering if it is because I added a bank account or something else that I need to do.

Withdrawals can take anything from 2 – 72 hrs to complete through our system. In general, the maximum amount of time that the transfer might take is 72 hours. Once it shows as completed on your PayPal activity, you should be able to see the money in your bank account within a couple of hours. You can find more information here.
