Transfer to bank account failed - is my money lost forever?

Hi all as a new ebayer it has been rough having funds from the items I have sold being held for a while but finally £60 of my sales were avaliable to spend or withdraw. I chose to withdraw this to my bank account that has been set up properly - direct debit ect and today I get an email saying my funds transfer has been declined by the bank... the £60 isnt in my bank and its not in paypal. Has this been lost forever or will it finally show up somewhere? what timescale am I looking at before I get this back. Thank you for reading and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems odd it was declined, you have not accidently removed the direct debit mandate from your online banking list have you?

Normally if its declined it takes a few days to process back to your paypal account but you may have a small charge for the failed withdrawal.
