Quick Withdrawal Problems (where's my money please)

I made a quick withdrawal for £495 on Monday 05/09/2011 and the funds are still pending today. Its been 2 days now and it does say 1-2 working days max. 

When will i receive my funds???

I can see a lot of people are having problems with withdrawals, and i can't afford to have this money waiting.

where are all the mods on here? Paypal customer support is terrible! 

Anyhow, i rang up earlier and the lady said that my funds will be in by the close of business today or tomorrow at latest, but im very sceptic about this after reading several similar threads. I have had my £5 quick withdrawal charge refunded. My withdrawal is still pending, i will continue to ring twice every day until the unds appear in my bank, seems the only way to hurry this up is to pester them!

just rang paypal again, apparantly now they have a 72 hour security check!! so why couldn't you tell me this yesterday????

she said this should be completed by 4pm (which i don't believe!) and then it will take a further 1 to 2 days to reach my bank (which again i don't believe)

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! 

Come on mods, please give me an explanation, i chose the quick withdrawal option for £5, so why should i have to wiat for 72 hour security check!! no doubt this 72 hour check will turn in to a 72 day check or something daft like that

Well thanfully my case isn't as bad as some of the other posts on here.

My withdrawal status changed to completed yesterday, and the funds have reached my bank account today. 

So 5 working days wasn't too bad, however i did chose the quick withdrawal option which should have took 2 days max. Paypal seriously need to sort out their process of withdrawals when it come to the quick withdrawal option. 

I shall continue to use paypal in the hope this gets sorted out.

From time to time withdrawal do get held up for security checks but you shouldn't have to pay an extra £5.00 for the pleasure. Speak with Customer Services about getting that fee back
