Pending withdrawal of Paypal funds

Hi There,

On monday my friend paid £50.00 into my paypal account and I withdrew it immediately and it was immediately in my bank account. He then paid a further £50.00 in on wednesday and I again withdrew it, however this time it says pending?! Can anyone explain why and why it was ok on monday but not two days later and now I'm left without money which I need desperately?

Withdrawals take 2-24 hours in the UK unless you get a random security hold of 72 hours but then you get an email to tell you.

Sometimes you are lucky and get it more quickly.
