Pending on Hold, Withdrawal on Hold. Paypal is on Hold

I have been using Ebay and paypal for many years now and have bought and sold items of high and low value, For some reason I sold 3-4 items all around 500-1000 uk pounds value but both the withdrawal and the payment received is on hold. I dont understand my account is and always have been clean and I have been holding on the phone for over 30 minutes awating an advisor. Paypal was not like this before never used to have issues. Seems that has all changed. Not happy, Am i suppose to send the ebay items regadless of clearance? doesnt make sense. Thx Paypal for the bad service.

You are at no more risk with pending payments.

If a buyer opened a dispute and won then you have to refund them, if you refuse then paypal has to refund under buyer protection and then they chase you for the funds..............SO paypal hold the funds of new sellers to protect themselves.

Reasons why you may have returned to the hold possibly are >>>

1. New seller.

2. Not sold for a while and returned to selling.

3. Dipped star ratings on ebay.

4. Recent buyer disputes.

5. Selling on a different email address or ebay i.d.6. Suddenly selling a high cost item against normal selling history?
