Paypal Refuses to Link My Bank Account

For the past month and a half, I have been struggling to do the simplest thing - link my bank account to PayPal.
Everything has been set up correctly on my side. My FNB account was upgraded to allow for PayPal integration. Both of my bank cards have been linked and verified. My bank account itself has been linked to PayPal from their side.
And yet PayPal refuses to link my bank account.
I’ve sent two emails, and both times I’ve received automated responses with no resolution. This is getting ridiculous. I’ve checked with my bank, and they’ve confirmed that (and I quote) “PayPal has no reason not to link your account. Everything has been done correctly, and we’re surprised that PayPal is refusing to link the accounts”.
It’s incredibly frustrating. For a month and a half, I’ve received the same error over and over again: “Sorry, we are not able to process your request. Please try again later.”
As mentioned, I’ve been “trying again later” for over a month.
I’ve inconvenienced myself to great extent in ensuring everything has been done correctly from my side. I spent money I did not have on upgrading my account to allow for PayPal integration. Worse, my family is suffering because PayPal refuses to link my fully verified bank account!
My girlfriend works far from home and has to take Uber to and from work every day. We don’t know how she’s going to get to work this week because PayPal refuses to give me access to my money.
Our daughter was sick last week, and we were unable to get her the medical treatment she needed. Again, because PayPal refuses to give me access to my own money.
I’ve gone without food for four days so that my girlfriend and daughter are able to eat what little we have left. Why? Because PayPal refuses to give me access to my own money.
I work two jobs: as a freelance writer and editor (which is where I earn the money in PayPal), and as a web hosting support agent. I’ve spent so much time trying to make PayPal happy that I’ve lost work opportunities. I’ve spent so much time running to and from the bank to get everything sorted out that my day job is at risk. And again, I’ve spent so much time trying to get hold of PayPal to get this issue resolved, that I’m losing money doing so.
And I’d like to stress again that my bank says there’s absolutely no reason for PayPal to be refusing me access to my own money.
I’ve sent emails and received automated responses that don’t have any answer or resolution.

I've tried using the "Email Customer Support" function to lodge a complaint against PayPal, but receive a "We're sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again." error every time.
I'm not trying to get any money out of PayPal as recompense for the HUGE inconvenience the company is causing me and my family - I just want to be able to access my own money!

What other options do I have? PayPal refuses (and again, without any reason) to link my bank account. PayPal even refuses to give me any proper response on email support, and refuses to allow me to lodge a proper complaint too!

It's reaching the point where I'm starting to consider filing charges against PayPal for fraud and theft. I'm at my wits end - if PayPal continues to refuse me access to my own money, my family and I could be living on the streets soon!

Please, if anyone can help me (preferably a PayPal support agent, but at this point ANYONE), let me know.

ok i am a bit confused because you say your daughter was sick and you could not pay medical bills.............what medical bills  !!!!!

 

What country are you in?

What countries paypal account do you have?

What countries bank account do you have?
