Strange, i have had x1 72 hour hold in 18 months, the rest of the time its in my bank instantly.
But then i don't withdraw everytime a buyer pays, i tend to only withdraw every 2-3 weeks so a few extra days is not a big deal.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

After speaking to the Financial Ombudsman I can confirm that they are looking into this now as it's happening to most customers, as you can see on the PayPal Facebook page, although PayPal keep deleting these posts which immeidately puts up a red flag.
The Finiancial Ombudsman has stated to me that they have been aware of this 'security' tactic/loophole that PayPal are using to hold onto the funds and are investigating now.
