I think this is absolutely shocking! The person I spoke with from PayPal was really nice and I know he only works there and not his fault. Seemingly the reason for holding our money is 'because they are not walking into a shop and seeing and feeling the article' I'm sorry but I don't get this! Because even if I did walk into a shop see it feel it and then said can I take this with me for 72 hours before I pay you! I don't think so absolutely bull **bleep**! Why do we have to put up with this?

It seems to work this way >>
When a buyer pays you it is not instant if they fund it from their bank account via paypal.
So Paypal CREDIT you the funds so the buyer gets their item quickly and then paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to paypal........normally 5 days ish.
So if you withdraw those funds straight away then its paypals funds you are withdrawing and so they put on a "random security hold" until the buyers payment has time to play catch up.
I find if i only withdraw funds every 2-4 weeks then i don't get the delay.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
