How long before money goes into bank account?

Been waiting 3 days for paypal to transfer money to my bank account, logged on this morning and it says that the transaction is complete. However this is not showing on my online bank account....any ideas how long this is going to take??

I am having the same issue as you. I withdrew £80 from the paypal account to my bank account on Thursday evening, and it has still not shown up on my bank statements (ATM'S OR ONLINE BANKING) but has 'Completed' according to paypal. As usual, cannot find any help sections apart from ''2-3 working days'. Incredibly frustrating to say to least. Let's hope we both get our money ASAP! :@

Mine also says complete as of this morning but online banking showing nothing and checking atm nothing,it said it was supposed to make 2 small deposits first,did that happen with you ?

I am having the same problem. To make matters worse, my funds were at one point held by PayPal pending a limitation review which took nearly a week. When I finally completed the limitation review I was able to withdraw the funds to my bank account. This was Wednesday, Dec .1 by the way. Timeframe was stated as 2-3 working days, so not including the weekend, and not including Wednesday morning (!?) they said my money would arrive by today. I wake up today, optimistic, hoping I can pay the rent - still no money. I am absolutely frustrated at the current state of affairs, banks and companies like PayPal should really offer consumers more transparency about what's happening to their money and why they are allowed to take so long!!!

same problem as all the above , 300 odd pounds said to be completed but not coming up in my bank account , on the net , on my card , ...what the **bleep** is going on i need to buy presents for my family !!!!!!

Hi Luke I sincerely sympathise with your situation. I actually called today (again) because *surprise surprise*, the money STILL wasn't in my account even though the lady from customer service had told me I should check again on Tuesday and she assured me it would be in. Absolutely enraged, I still managed to keep my calm and call customer service after being put on hold for 10 minutes. I told the lady who was sure to "Welcome me in the PayPal family blah blah" that I was getting rather fed up with the present situation. Listen to this: She actually tells me that PayPal only transferred the money on Saturday the 4th (even though I put the withdrawal through on Wednesday the 1st!!!!)!!!. They actually postponed the withdrawal until 3 DAYS LATER! I was absolutely fuming but I wasn't going to rage since I'm such a polite young man. The lady tells me that the money will be in tomorrow GUARANTEED and I swear to God if it isn't I'm going to have a heart attack as I'm even experiencing pain in my neck while I'm typing this message. Like you I have to do Christmas shopping and have delayed paying my rent for two days. I have had it with PayPal and their dishonesty (I can't believe the lady on the phone even told me they transferred the money on Saturday...if this is true, that just goes to show what a rotten bunch they are). I wish everyone good luck in retrieving the money which is rightfully theirs and all the best for the holidays, sounds like you all need it.

this seems to have developed as a problem in the last month or so - paypal are very smart in separating their departments and then only allowing contact with employees who know nothing
i'm seriously starting to think it's the wikileaks hackers messing things up for them

I had the same problem. Transferred money on the 1st of December, transaction said completed on the 2nd, but was told on the phone the money was only released on the 4th. Thanks to Paypal, in a week they delayed two payments to my bank account which lost us two contracts totally £5000/month.
