CAN ADD FUNDS FROM UK BANK ACCOUNT BUT NOT US ACCOUNT???

Hi Everyone,

Looking for some help with a problem I'm having adding funds to my PayPal account.

I have both USA and UK bank accounts both of which are registered to my PayPal account. When adding funds to my PayPal account I can only access the UK bank???

Don't know why???

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

In the UK you can only upload or withdraw funds to a UK bank account.

And in the U.S you can only upload or withdraw to a US bank account.

I wish to add funds to my UK Paypal account using my USA bank account.  From your answer  this is not possible. So do I need to have a US Paypal account to be able to add US Dollars?

You are responding to a post I made in 2012. Things have changed over the last 5 years so its always best to check the date on posts and open a fresh thread for up to date information.

U.S ex-pats can link their U.S bank accounts to a lot of other countries paypal accounts now.

Click to add your U.S bank account to your U.K paypal account and if you have any problems give customer services a call and they should be able to do it for you.

But if you are living in the UK then you need a UK paypal account, paypal is still country specific.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did notice it was an old thread but as it was a relevant topic i thought it best to respond here. I'll start a new thread as you suggest next time. I have a uk PayPal account and the format to add a us address is different and I can't see where to change that. I live in the us now and I'm a UK ex pat. I'll ask customer services to help as I don't think it's possible to add my us bank account. Thanks Naradiji

From your initial post it sounded as if you were living in the UK with a UK paypal account but wanting to add a US bank account.

So I responded that yes you now can.

You now say you have a UK paypal account but are living in the US and that is completely different.
