I have legally changed my name and have sent paypal the deed poll but are also requesting photo id. I do not have this nor do I understand why they require it when my own banks and county council haven't asked me for anything like that. I can substantiate it with updated bills and my new bank details with my address to corroborate it.
And whenever I try to submit the scans of the documents the website goes non-responsive. The customer service team have been as helpful as a chocolate tea pot as their responses are completely automated and there's no grasp of the question being asked.
