UK bank account, foreign address questions

Another moving abroad question...Slightly complex one.

I used to live in the UK, and after I left I was able to maintain a legal address there for some time (family), but now they have passed away/moved on from where they were, so I'm no longer able to do that.  I have a UK bank account and credit card, which I recently (for the reasons stated above) had to change the "registered address".  This is where it gets complex.  That registered address is in the United States, though I do not live there, it is merely a freight forwarding address for where I really live and run a business (Honduras) - I use this service because there are no "regular addresses" on this particular island, and therefore, no other reliable way to receive mail.

Question: Is there any way I can keep the UK paypal account?  Or is there still this strictness about having a UK address?

Other question:  Should that not be the case, can I add MY UK account to my partner's USA paypal account?

I have used UK paypal on US eBay and had things delivered to my freight forwarder many times, and hope to continue to do so...Real pain if I can't.

It may be "no" for both questions.  You have to have UK address with a UK account.  And you can't add info from account to another.  What you may want to do is follow-up with customer support to find out what other options may be available.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

What an antiquated system...Time to try something else.
