Submit Direct Debit Instruction

Why I cant submit the Direct Debit Instruction to confirm my bank account? I have tried several times and nothing happens. The system doesnt let me to do it. Anybody can help me please.....

do  you mean you are trying to add the 4 digit code they sent you to confirm your bank account?

Hi. Thanks for your reply.

I dont have the 4 digits number. Just need it to update my new card expiry date and the security code which I did. But the system is asking me to confirm the bank account and i dont understand why I have to do it because still is the same bank account...Is because I have to update the Direct Debit Instruction with the bank too?

that seems odd if your bank account is already confirmed.

 

your best bet is to ask customer services to check your funding sources to find out why they are asking this.

 

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".

The thing is when Im trying  to confirm the Direct Debit instruction the system is telling me to try again later. Do you know why? Just wanted to know if I could fix it without contacting customer services....

Sorry i haven't come across this one before.

 

Normally when you "add" a bank account you get the 4 digit code sent to your account > confirm it on the paypal site and that sets up the direct debit mandate automatically.

 

You should not have to "submit" it.

I dont need to "add" a bank account. I already have one in paypal which I have been using for years till now that I had to update and link my new bank card with my odd bank account. I cant confirm the Direct Debit. Will be better to speak with my bank instead? or try customer services as you said.....Thanks
