Opting out of 'recent transactions' email

Over the last few months I've begun receiving monthly emails from Paypal entitled '...view your recent transactions'.

How do I opt-out of getting this email? There is no 'unsubscribe' option within the email itself, and I have gone through all my communications preferences in my account options, but there is no option that directly relates to this specific email.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

There is no 'unsubscribe' option within the email itself, and

Yes there is, right at the very bottom of the email.

I've reviewed all of the previously sent emails - there is no 'unsubscribe' option on, or at the bottom, of any of them.

Well they are all the same and there is on mine.

You need to go below the contact us etc to the grey area at the bottom and you should see this.

I've also received a "view your recent transaction" email with no unsubscribe option. This is not acceptable, as I have no wish to receive this spam.

Paypal inform me you cannot opt out of these "monthly statement" emails. Adding marketing information like "Mothers' Day" makes it worse. I've complained as I do not need an email to check my monthly statement and never have in the many years I've had a PP account. It is just spam and should have an unsubscribe option.

Bumping this because it's bloody annoying! I keep getting the same "View your recent transactions email" even when I haven't had a transaction for months!

There is no specific unsubscribe in the email, only a bit at the bottom saying:

> If you want to be informed about our updates and special offers, change your settings here.

And the link just goes to the "My Account" page. There is no option under the "Notifications" tab to turn off these emails, and I've alreayd unticked all the options that I can.
