New account added - deposits not recieved but email saying withdrawal already made????

Hi

I've added a new bank accout to my paypal and recieved an email saying I would recieve the two small deposits, which i would need to use to verify the new bank account.  However.... a couple of minutes later also recieved an email saying my withdrawal had been made and the funds were being processed to be paid into said account.  So not sure if transfer into my account has been done, or if still waiting to be verified???

Hi there, just to confirm. When you add your bank to PayPal, you can use it for withdrawal of funds from PayPal to your current account. However, if you want to use that bank as a funding source on your PayPal. You will need to confirm it. That’s what we do with the random deposit process.

Your withdrawn funds should be in your bank account in a few days. When you also see the 2 small random deposits, you can use them to confirm your bank and set up the direct debit mandate.

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. Click ‘Bank Accounts’ under ‘Financial Information.’ (Don’t see this step? Follow the instructions below.)
4. Click ‘Confirm’ next to the bank account you want to confirm.
5. Enter the exact amounts of the 2 deposits made to your account, then click ‘Submit.’

Completing this process enables you to add funds from your bank account to your PayPal account balance, make Instant Bank Transfer payments and eCheque funded payments.

to be honest this has sent me so crazy that I want to now cancel the reqeust and simply have the money put in the original account - HOW DO I DO THIS AND NOT LOSE MY FUNDS IN TRANSIT - WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THEM - WILL THEY RETURN AUTOMATICALLY TO MY ORIGINAL VERIFIED CONFIRMED ETC ACCOUNT?

OH PLEASE REPLY I WANT ACCESS TO MY OWN MONEY

YOU SEE - i followed you steps written to the other user and when it gets to the click 'confirm' I did this and then can of course go no further as THAT IS EXACTLY THE ISSUE - IT ALL COMES TO A STANDSTILL THEN AS THE DEPOSITS ARE NOT THERE SO HOW ONE EARTH CAN I CONFIRM THEIR AMOUNT SO IT ALL STOPS AT THIS POINT ?? MY QUESTION IS WHERE ARE THEY - CAN I HIT REMOVE AT THIS POINT - ??? TAKE THE ACCUNT AWAY AND FORGET I EVER TRIED ??

as with Suzie F etc etc - PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?? though I now wish i had not, on 17th May I needed my money soh!! quickly tht I followd the steps exactly to enter my second bank account - hre I am 7 days later !!! on my account history it states unconfirmed etc ~ i hve made 4 !! special journeys to the bank and to no avail - the cashier says they are not pending ?? and they have not ben sent - if only I has simply used the bank account that I have used for 6 years but the IRONY AND TOTAL FRUSTRATION TO THIS IS THT I WANTED TO THE MONEY QUICK TO PAY A DIRECT DEBIT - HERE i AM 7 DAYS LATER - NO INFORMATION - AND HVE SAT LITERALLY HOURS ATTMEPTING TO MAKE CHANGES and others ae saying on this forum literally going round in circles - it tells me waht to do and i do it and then i can get no further ???? - i cold scream and now feel worrid i will neer see this money - have emailed paypal but that is a marathon in itself as it has so many sub topics and drop down slots that if your question doesnt hit the exact spot which mine does not - you get nowhere - and it wants you to call them instead - LAST MONTH I CALLED AND THE BILLW AS £19 .00 !!
