Incorrect phone number on EBAY invoice - referred to PayPal

Hi folks.

I bought something on ebay this week and when I received the invoice it had my old phone nubmer on it. Now it's not a big deal at the moment as I also use EBAY and PAYPAL through my phone(with my new number) but I checked with EBAY and they confirmed that the right number is stored on their database and that the seller got my address details from PayPal. Yet my number is the right one on PayPal too. How did my old number get on the invoice then?

I know that ebay say they have the right number but can you do this first >>>

Go to ebay and click on "my ebay" > click on account tab > addresses > there are x3 addresses in there.

1. Registration address ....and at the bottom is the phone number.

2. Payment addresss.....and at the bottom is the phone number.

3. Primary postage addresss....and at the bottom is the phone number.

The phone numbers are often "optional" but just check and make sure your old one is not still on one of them.
