Hello all, I've had a question, if it's not too much to ask. My old email got hacked recently by a hacker (possibly by a phiser), and I didn't want to take a risk, so I deleted the bank account from my account. I created a new paypal account and tried to add my bank account to that account but it said that the bank card was already on an another account. Is this a bug, or could anybody please help me out. I'd be glad!
It's not a bug, it's an internal security check because the system knows that the account was previously used. This prevention is place to protect you and ensure that you are the owner of the account. What you have to do is contact customer support direct and they can assist with getting your account relinked. Note, best to call as emails usually don't get these kinds of issues resolved.
