Credit Card in both UK and abroad

HI, I have two addresses currently - one in the UK and one in Malta. I'm both living and working in both.

I also have two bank accounts - one in each country, I want to add one of my Maltese credit cards to Paypal so that I can choose to pay with that if necessary.  However, I can't put my Malta card onto PayPal as it asks for the billing address - which is in Malta, not my default UK one. How do I do this?  When adding a billing address I can't change the country, it defaults to the UK only ??

How do I achieve this?

Paypal is country specific so if you move country you have to open another paypal account in that country and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.

I've just been reading about this and it sucks.

Here we were thinking that PayPal is an international company but it isn't. It's a U.S. company that is using a U.S. model to try to fudge its way into the international market. Do PayPal not realise that us Europeans regularly move from country to country just by driving a couple of miles down the road - without having to use passports?

Having to set up new email addresses and new accounts just to move around is plainly stupid. Come on PayPal, how about you guys grow up and give us a grown-up system work with? There are millions of overseas workers that ALL have this issue. It's time to sort it out. I WANT the ability to be able to pay a bill with ANY of my cards from my PayPal account - not have to log in to another account depending on what country I'm in.

It's a ridiculous situation. Are we really living in 2017? Debit and Credit cards work all over the world - how come PayPal doesn't? I should be able to register ANY of my cards to my account, not just the ones that are the same as my default billing address. Who exactly is this archaic procedure protecting? Having more than one account isn't protecting me, that's for sure.

It's time to change and start to move your systems to 2017 - Please???
